The Inca Shamans celebrate the Andean Solstice
The Capac Raymi or Andean Solstice on December 21st marks a memorable moment of connecting with oneself, receiving new energies and the end of a cycle, it is a moment where one can connect with the 4 elements, Fire, Air, Water and Earth with the femininity and masculinity as oneself or in balance.
On December 21st, the Incas celebrated The “Capac Raymi” and perceived their proximity to this energy, at that time the earth is closer to the sun and this event, like others, was considered very important. The Incas had their own systems, they knew how to calculate time, the Inca rites were a way to give thanks for all the blessings received. The main activity of the Incas was based on agriculture, therefore it is of great relevance and basically everything they did was related to agricultural activity.
December brought the great Corn harvests, Corn was considered something sacred from which the sacred drink known as Chicha was made, it was also a time of abundance at work, everyone prepared for the new harvests, and they thanked the rain, water fertilizing the lands, likewise we thanked the Sun for fertilizing the lands, it was a precise moment of balance with everything around us.

For us, December 21 must also be very important as it was for our grandparents or our ancestors, it must be the end of a cycle and we must take it as such, to close circles and say goodbye.
Due to the very fact that the earth is closer to the sun, these three days must be one of understanding, acceptance and growth. From December 21 to 23, we must be in deep reflection, removing all thoughts, actions, people who do not They contribute positively to our lives, and attracting with what we want, just as the sun fertilizes the earth, in this way the energy that will be present in these 3 days will give life to our new thoughts, new intentions for this new cycle.
