Cusco City Information

Cusco city is one of the most spectacular cities in Peru, it is considered the most touristic one and you can find a bunch of things to do and never be boring, the landscapes in the Andes has much to offer from the historic streets in the same city to the lakes and snow-capped mountains of the Sacred Valley, it offers a different route to explore, the people are just friendly and the food complements your visit with a variety of good taste and flavor.

Cusco is located at 3,400 m.a.s.l or 11,000 f.a.s.l located in the south of the Capital of Peru Lima, you can arrive taking a domestic flight from Lima (LIM) that it will take around 1 hour and 20 minutes or by bus that it will take around 22 hours.

WHEATER

The perfects months to visit Cusco city are between April to October because you can enjoy the sunny days and the dry season but because we are located at such a high altitude the weather can change very quickly that is why we always recommend you to bring with you warm clothes for the nights.

The Rainy season is considered between the months of November to March in case you visit the city in this season always bring warm clothes and an umbrella

TRANSPORTATION

In Cusco city, the transportation is safe and comfortable and there would be always one for you but we always recommend you to get a safe one usually the ones with the sign on the top of the caps or the ones vinculated with the apps in case you will go out in the nights.

HEALTH

Because we are located at so high altitude it is common to feel out of breath, dizziness or physical sores, this is what we called the “ SOROCHE” or the High altitude sickness that is why we always recommend you to rest the first few hours that you arrived at the city and drink lot of water. After one or two days the sensation will disappear.
