Ayahuasca or San Pedro ceremony?

This is a briefly information for people who want to do a ceremony with the Medicinal Plants, the difference between one or other medicnal plant, we have noticed there are lot of people who really do not know what one ceremony is related or why people do it, how it will help them in their daily life or just simple want to experience but they are not sure what this is for.

Well here we give some information, tips, recommendation and the difference between Ayahuasca ceremony and San Pedro ceremony.

First we will start with the Ayahuasca ceremony,  First Ayahuasca is a medicinal plant coming from the Amazonian jungle of Peru, the knowledge, wisdom and Shamans comes from this beautiful Paradise, in the Jungle of Peru there are hundreds and hundreds of medicinal plants but this one specifically has been very popular nowadays because we can say it is the Mother or Queen of the Medicinal plants this is how the Shamans call it and also it is because it is very powerful, it heals  body, mind and the spirit, This ceremony it needs to be done in a close space where the Shaman will sing the Icaros or the Healing songs in his own Language that is the Shipibo, He will be the one who will start the journey for you, he will be your guide while you are under the effects of this medicinal plant.

The Ayahuasca last around 4 to 5 hours it depends of each body, and all the journey will be just inside of you, if you open your eyes you will be conscious of everything around you and if you close your eyes you will be in the Journey again, The Ayahuasca has the DMT the “spirit molecule” that produces a brief but intense visual and auditory hallucinogenic experience, so it means the Ayahuasca medicine plant is a visionary plant and by this visions you can be healed, understand better or just simple it could be life changing. This 4 hours it can be very intense that is why we always suggest to prepare your mind and body before the ceremony.

With the Ayahuasca sacred plant you can reach different levels of consciousness and sometimes it can be difficult to understand all the process of healing in 2 or 3 days, that is why we suggest patience and time step by step you will feel much better and understand as well all the teachings of the Ayahuasca plant.

By the other hand the San Pedro or Wachuma plant medicine is a cactus, the brew the Shamans obtain after a long cook of more than 8 hours in a ritual, we do not recommend the powder one because it will damage your stomach and gives you more intentions of vomiting, this medicine plant has a male energy that is why many Shamans call it the Grandfather or the Father because it is more gentle and delicate.

Even if San Pedro or Huachuma sacred plant it is not a visionary plant it can be a very porwerfull medicine because it connects you with the energy of the Sun that is why you have to do it outside near the nature or a sacred space, it can also takes you to different states of consciousness where you can achieve a dissolution of unconscious complexes rooted in the personaly, the Shamans are going to be a a primary pillar to guide you through this journey, beginning with cleansing and healing songs that will allow you to expand your senses to feel grounded and know that you are important and part of this sacred Planet, it will also help you to understand why of your wrong decisions, resolve problems or just have a better idea of your future, you will work more with your senses and emotions and if there are heart wounds you need to heal this sacred plant will help you in a very kind way.

The process of this sacred plant it can takes from 6 to 7 hours and during the process you are completely conscious, it works better when you are in meditation and silence because it says when we are in silence different doors open and we can see better the things.

There are a lot of people that they want to try first the San Pedro medicine plant before the Ayahuasca plant  as a part of a process but we recommend to try it after because according of our experiences we had positive result of integration of healing after Ayahuasca, because San Pedro will complement the healing process and allow you to understand better the cleaning process of Ayahuasca and give you a better self-knowledge.
